Our Safe Tie System supports our philosophy with horses perfectly-which is to use no force -whilst encouraging the horse to make smarter choices.

As this set-up works well with your horse's natural instincts to help to teach our equine friends that they don't need to panic and pull back when being tied.

As prey animals, horses naturally want to pull back when they feel trapped, as their instincts tell them to run from fear or other worrisome situations in order to be able to outrun the risk of predation.

The Safe Tie system works well to show the horse he is not trapped by allowing him a little "give" in tying option 1, which alleviates that trapped feeling and panic and anxiety that some horses can feel when being tied, helping to teach the horse to learn to stand tied without all the worry or fuss.

Once your horse gets used to Tying Option 1 then they can be tied more firmly in Tying Option 2, which will still give if they panic for safety, but offers more resistance for a firmer tying option.

In the event that your horse has a major pullback incident, the Safe Tie System, if used correctly, will allow the lead rope to slide to release the horse, significantly reducing the chance of your horse seriously hurting himself through the dangerous situation of thrashing around at the end of a lead rope.

The Safe Tie Unit consists of a heavy-duty locking carabiner that you can take with you to clip the Safe Tie to where you need it the most, whether that be in the barn, to a fence, or on the float etc...along with a heavy-duty aluminium Double Ringed System with a 3500kg breaking strain for strength and durability.

WHIP WHOP/GIDDY-UP ROPE

This can be used as a friendly device to encourage your horse to go.

However, it is not to be used as a whip but more to create energy and motion by lightly swinging it from the saddle until the horse moves off-then offer an immediate release by quitting the action.

This approach encourages your horse into being more willing to move off when asked to do so and works with his natural instincts of pressure and release.
